As many of you may know, Utah has received some bad press lately as a result of certain grassroots efforts of the LDS church to fight the Proposition 8 Constitutional Amendment that recently passed in California making marriage exclusively between a man and woman.

Dear All,
Skis have begun to ship to customers who participated in the preseason sale about one week ahead of the delivery schedule promised at the time of the sale. However, the MR's are not 100% complete. What does this mean? It means that they will be shipped in approximately 1 1/2 weeks when they will be completed.

2 weeks ago the national weather service was showing a chance of snow, and the the Mad River Glen webcam confirmed that it had, in fact, fallen. My friend Allen and I, psyched on skiing as usual, and eager to get first tracks, headed up to Stowe to get ours. On October 3rd however, it seemed that Stowe was decidedly less lucky than Mad river. Unwilling to let the lack of snow get the best of us, we went for it anyway....
